#okay so #the way the writers handled this scene #is totally proof that the klaroline storyline is SO NOT over yet #this was such a key moment #because this is the first time that caroline actually SEES this different side of klaus #for a second she forgets all about his wrongdoings #because you can see it in her eyes that she can’t believe that klaus has just saved her life #because even with all the little moments they’ve had together so far #she never would have expected him of all people to show up and save her #but when she thanks him in the second gif #his face just screams ‘oh caroline’ #because even if he did save her #he never in a million years #would have expected HER of all people to thank him #and there it is again #that moment when he looks into her eyes and all he wants is to be a better person for her #and she will -without even knowing it- teach him how to become one #and trust me #this episode was not the end of klaroline #but the true beginning of it

#just look at his face in the second gif #it tells everything about their relationship #he tells her about how he will take her anywhere #and for a second there you can see how much she wants to go with him #but then she snaps out the daydream #and almost laughs at him #and he just casts down his eyes like he’s ashamed #just for a moment you can totally see that he would change for her #and this is exactly why they would be perfect together #because every time he does that thing where he thinks he is the alpha male who can get anything #she will be the one to show him that you have to fight for some things in life #and along the way #she will make him a better person #and he will in return show her what the world has to offer #and soon enough she will fall for him #and it will be epic
